The Martingale System
In the Martingale System the bet is doubled after every loss. The player goes back to the original bet amount in the event of a win. For $5 bet and loss the next bet is $10. For a win the next bet is $5.
The D’Alembert System
The D’Alembert System is similar to the Martingale System but here the bet amount is not doubled. A unit is decided by the player. So, if the first bet is $2 and it is a loss then the next bet would be $4. If there is a loss then the next bet is $6. In the event of a win the next bet is $4.
The Labouchére System
In the Labouchére System a series of numbers is decided by the player. If someone uses the sequence 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 the first bet is $15 (5+10). In the event of a win these two numbers are struck off and the next bet is $15 (6+9). In the event of a win the bet amount is added to the sequence which is now 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 15 and the bet amount is $21.
The Fibonacci Sequence is a sequence of numbers that is formed by adding the previous two numbers. So, a Fibonacci Sequence is like 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 and so on. Some players use this sequence to place their bets. The first bet is $1 and in the event of a loss the next bet is again $1. Another loss and the next bet is $3. In the event of a win the last two numbers are crossed off and the remaining number is used as bet.
The Grand Martingale System
This is riskier than the Martingale System where the bet is doubled after a loss and another unit is added to it. So, for someone betting $1 and losing the next bet needs to be $3 (2+1). This can result in a huge win but the risk of losing the entire bankroll in no time is also there.
The Cuban System
The Cuban System is good for those new to the game. Here a bet is placed on third column of the table. At the same time another bet is placed on a black number. Since there are only four blacks and eight reds in third column there are more blacks in the rest of the table. This system is like a hedge on black.
